ORIGINAL DRAWINGS

Drawing runs through every part of Kayser’s practice: studies that become paintings, odd diversions that never will, and sheer repetition — the more he draws, the better the paintings turn out. It's also where he returns to the artists he loves most — Goya, Titian, Watteau, Fragonard, Delacroix, Géricault — learning from them, absorbing and remixing their influence into something his own.

The process is fluid and almost meditative, watching a handful of random marks slowly resolve into something. These original drawings are that process laid bare.
