Arrival (2021) depicts a modernist house set into dense, verdant gardens — white walls, large glazed windows, agaves and shrubs crowding the foreground. Crossing the path below, unhurried and entirely at ease, a monitor lizard. It is unclear who has arrived — the viewer, or the lizard who was here first. The work sits at the intersection of architecture, landscape and the quietly unsettling, a world in which the boundaries between the cultivated and the wild are thinner than they appear. Produced as a limited edition archival pigment print from the original oil painting by South African artist Andrew Kayser. Edition of 24, hand-signed and numbered. Printed on 308gsm Hahnemühle Photo Rag. Certificate of Authenticity included.
