Lost Pantheon III (2026)
An inverted, twisting fragment of classical sculpture — headless, armless, caught mid-gesture in a pose no longer legible as anything but movement itself. Kayser sets it against a streaked, wood-grained ground that reads almost like weathered timber, grounding the ancient fragment in something distinctly workshop, distinctly present-tense. The most abstracted of the three Lost Pantheon works, it pushes furthest from figuration and closest to the paper's own materiality — brushwork and surface doing as much of the work as the image itself.
