Lost Pantheon II (2026)
Stripped of its head and set against total black, this torso reads less as ruin than as pure form — the marble's musculature picked out in warm greys and rust undertones, the figure balanced on a plinth that anchors it somewhere between sculpture and specimen. Kayser isolates the fragment completely, removing any narrative crutch of landscape or setting; what's left is a study in weight, surface, and the strange dignity of the incomplete. The second work in the Lost Pantheon grouping, it continues the artist's inquiry into classical remnants stripped of context — monuments to the illusion of permanence and the unstable force of history, time, and memory.
